FIDE decided to publish 6 rating lists a year as compared to the quarterly lists it has been issuing before. In the September rankings Topalov still maintains the #1 position. Kramnik made an important comeback by winning Dortmund and is now #5 in the world & #1 in Russia again (except for the inactive You-Know-Who). Notable are Ivanchuck's results: by playing almost every day, he managed to increase his rating by an amazing 53 points! Gelfand has also played very many games - 33 - but with only a +1 point reward. Ex-FIDE World Champion Ruslan Ponomariov is just 2 points shy of his individual best. US Champion Hikaru Nakamura has entered the top-20 on place 16. Of course, he has lost quite a few points at the NH event, but that can be seen only in the live ratings (where he's back to #26). Alekseev, who has had a nice period (+11 points), and Karjakin (the table says UKR, but he has already received the Russian citizenship) are closing the World top-20.
The top spot is never an issue among women. Koneru Humpy, #2, has had a really bad period and has fallen below the magic 2600-mark for the first time in last two years. Hou Yifan's progress seems to have slowed down a bit, but Humpy needs to watch out since only 10 rating points separate them. Pia Cramling has played 35 (!) games during two months and reached the 6th place. At the same time, quite a lot of top women chess players (including Judit Polgar, Alexandra Kosteniuk, Maia Chiburdanidze, Hoang Thanh Trang, Natalia Pogonina, Ruan Lufei and Xu Yuhua - what a company!) haven't played any rated games that have been taken into account for the September list. Thus Women's top list hasn't changed as much as Men's.

Hi phranck,Eventually, I would like to have a veriosn for German and other languages. I was not sure if anyone was interested in it. Your recommendation will prompt me to move it higher on the priority list. I will probably support Android devices first and then look at implementing international veriosns.
