This popular question doesn't have an answer since there is no such phenomenon as "to see x moves ahead". Unlike chess engines, people rely on those lines which they consider most relevant, but (unless the continuation is forced) you can rarely claim seeing X moves ahead.
That is, in some calm strategical positions you hardly calculate at all, but just follow a plan. And in some tactical positions you have to calculate precisely very long variations. Accuracy is more important here, since sometimes a person calculates, let's say, 10 moves ahead only to find out that he blundered on the 3rd move.

Male chauvinism?
Hi Natalia,
Although I won't repeat the cheesy comments about your looks, I do agree with them. What struck me though in your biography up there is the line: "Her current FIDE rating is over 2500 – a mark that is associated with the title of a male Grandmaster." Now I do understand that historically more men than women probably played the game at a high level, but why on earth is there still a distinction in this day and age. To me it seems quite condescending towards women. Do you have any plans to (try to) address this issue? I wish you continued success and happiness, both in chess and in life.
Love, Albert.
