The women's event was a round robin featuring many notable players, such as ex-Women's World Chess Champion Alexandra Kosteniuk, the current Challenger Alexandra Goryachkina, the reigning Women's European Champion Alina Kashlinskaya, three-time Women's European Champion Valentina Gunina, et al. Natalia shared the 1st place for the third year in a row, ending up with one gold and two silver medals.
