The 7th edition of Kings Tournament took place in Bucharest, Romania from 6th to 16th October 2013. The indefatigable Fabiano Caruana won the event two rounds in advance. His live rating is now 2792, #4 in the world. Wang Hao once again became the Robin Hood of the tournament: he defeated the two top seeds and lost to the rating outsider. Local player Nisipeanu Liviu-Dieter held his own in this strong field and scored 50%. Teimour Radjabov (who has squandered 70 rating points since April 2013) is still in poor form: not a single victory and one loss. Characteristically enough, he went for a draw with perpetual check on move 19 playing White against Caruana in the final round. Ex-FIDE World Chess Champion Ruslan Ponomariov fared even worse: 2 losses, 6 draws. Final standings: 1. Fabiano Caruana (2779), Italy - 5 2. Wang Hao (2733), China - 4.5 3. Nisipeaunu Liviu-Dieter (2674), Romania - 4 4. Teimour Radjabov (2723), Azerbaijan - 3.5 5. Ruslan Ponomariov (2751), Ukraine - 3 Official website of the tournament
