Rollerblading

Grandpa Grumps had just informed the local police that several children were rollerblading in his driveway. However, by the time Police Officer Nickham turned up the children had gone and Grandpa Grumps couldn't remember their faces. So Nickham rounded up five children in the neighbourhood who had seen the culprits and listened to what they had to say about each other.

            "Exactly two of us are liars," said Andy.

            "The next person to speak is a liar!" piped Babs.

            "Exactly two of the others lie," said Connie.

            "Eddie tells lies," claimed Danny.

            "Exactly two of us tell the truth," said Eddie.

Which children can Nickham be sure to get reliable statements from?

Let x be True & 0 be False.
A : 2 Liars out of ABCDE
B : C = 0
C : 2 Liars out of ABDE
D : E = 0
E : 3 Liars out of ABCDE
(A & E) and (D & E) are dependent,so...
it\'d be easier to start from Andy,Danny or Eddie.
Starting with Andy:
IF(A=0)
THEN
E=x;
D=0;

IF(B=x THEN C=0)
IF (B=0 THEN C=x)

where B=x may be True because when C is a Liar, \"2 Liars of ABDE\" may be False which is TRUE! :p
Clearly, B=0 cant be TRUE.

IF(A=x);
//results will be opposite//
D=x;
E=0;
B=0; //B=x is False for A=x//
C=x;
Sooo,...
0x00x OR x0xx0 fits the answer for ABCDE where 0 are Liars.

And something about Connie\'s statement:
If its like,\"Im not the Liar but 2 of them are...\"
Then, Babs and Danny can be trusted. :x
Orrr
If its,\"Im a Liar and 2 of them are also Liars...\"
Then, Andy, Connie and Danny can be trusted.
Wait. . .!
...If a Liar says,\"Im a Liar\" isnt that a good reason to trust him or her?
...unless
if its a lie, told by speaking the truth.. :p

. . .like captain Jack Sparrow...
LoL
