In an all-Russian final the leader of the national team Vladimir Kramnik defeated the current Russian Champ Dmitry Andreikin 2.5-1.5 and added another prestigious victory to his amazing chess resume. Moreover, the ex-World Chess Champion hasn't lost a single game in any time control at the event! The total prize of the tournament was $1,600,000 with $120,000 ($96,000 net) going to the winner.

Vladimir Kramnik and Dmitry Andreikin have earned spots in the next Candidates tournament. Sergey Karjakin has also received such a spot, which has been passed on to him due to Kramnik's double qualification. Congratulations to all the three GMs!
