I met Boris Spassky in New York in 1982. He bought me a meal at McDonald\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s despite my attempt to pay for both of us. A real nice-guy!

My tribute to Russian chess is a miniature King\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Gambit that I played that might be theoretically important.
