Today I will tell you about the #4 game in more detail.

Before applying the unconventional and interesting approach, lets describe the game using standard chess terms.

While preparing for the game I noticed that my opponent prefers to play on the wings, while giving away the center. This leads him into trouble when faced with a hasteless play in the center. On the other hand, he is incredibly strong in tactics. All the challenges that rise during tactical complications are tackled by him at chess engines strength. Ok, I decided what opening to employ; well see how the game unfolds.

In the opening my opponent started developing on the queenside and postponed activating the kingside knight. This might have given me a clear initiative in the center, and that could be especially dangerous if Black doesnt castle short asap.

After the opening a small tactical fight happened, but I managed to extinguish the fire with a few precise actions. My opponent chose a dubious continuation that allowed him to castle, but gave me a clear advantage in the form of Blacks bad light-squared bishop vs my knight.

I could opt for a continuation where I trade queens and obtain an open line and a powerful knight, but decided to postpone the exchange to increase the role of the open file. While anticipating all sorts of pleasant endgames, the only thing that slightly troubled me was a desperate sacrifice of the bad Blacks bishop. You can imagine how surprised I was when my opponent sacrificed another bishop and launched a deadly attack on the kingside. All the advantages of my positional play no longer mattered. The knight and queen got stuck on the queenside, the open file was of no use anymore, and my monarch found itself naked! My queen rushed to the kings rescue and was heroically slain, while the knight had just enough time to threaten mate before the inevitable resignation

And here is an unconventional retelling of the same story

I will try to convey my emotions to you.

Lets call the players admirers, and the lady will of course be the goddess of chess Caissa.

So, you and other competitor admire the same lady. Tomorrow a banquet will take place. All three of you will meet there. What will your actions be like?

Obviously, you will start preparing for the upcoming evening and studying the object of your passion. What will she look like tomorrow? Her dress? Mood? Habits, whims, character, preferencesYou have known each other for ages, but she is different every time. And always spectacular!

Now back to your rival. Who is he? What are his weaknesses? Is he a proficient dancer? A renowned speaker? Where does is he in his cup of tea, and where does he uncomfortable?

The banquet is starting. The lady is looking modest and, as always, very attractive.

You are trying to impress on her and separate her from your rivalBut he is attempting the same! As you cant escape from him, you are trying to foresee all the whims of the lady and win her favor. Yes, she likes vague phrases and allusions, but honest and to-the-point replies appeal to her moreEverything is going on well, and she is already smiling. You take her for an old-fashioned dance, and your competitor doesnt have much chances. You know your moves in advance this sky, the stars, the Moon the scenery perfectly suits the sonnet you have prepared in her honor. Now what is that? Waltz is all of a sudden overtaken by rock-n-roll, and the rival asks her out. They are heading to the exit. How on earth did you forget to tip the orchestra in advance?! All you can do is hurry up and run to the exit. Alas, its too late. The taxi with the lovely couple has already left. What a pity! However, you give credit to that guys imagination. What an attaboy!  He found the one and only weak link in your plan, and there you go

Ok, lets forget about it. Its time to prepare for tomorrows party

How will she look like tomorrow, my beloved one? What character does she have? Habits? Whims? So far I dont know, but in the beginning she will be modest and, as usual, spectacular

The game itself
