The prize fund of the tournament was roughly $150k. The winner also received a Renault Kaptur car for her efforts. Natalia Pogonina shared 1st-2nd places with Alexandra Goryachkina after the classical portion and went on to lose the dramatic rapid tie-break and to end up winning the silver medal.
