Magnus Carlsen currently holds all the three WCC titles: classical, rapid and blitz. This is a unique result in the history of chess. All the images in the report are (C) of the official site. Most of the world's top players participated in the World Rapid and Blitz Chess Championships in Dubai from June 15 to 20. The total prize fund of the event was $400,000 with $40,000 going to the winner of each section. The medalists of the rapid championship: Magnus Carlsen (Norway, gold, 11/15), Fabiano Caruana (Italy, silver, 10.5), Viswanathan Anand (India, bronze, 10.5). You can view the full standings here.
