While everyone is following closely the exciting WC match between Anand and Topalov, I still have to pay my dues and share with you my analysis of the Pogonina vs Chess.com game. The first part of the article included a story about the game, some insights, as well as a video-overview.

Before we head to the variations, I would also like to note that this event didn't go unnoticed. Most of the leading chess websites have been reporting on it. The event also made it to top story of World Chess News.

Naturally, during this game a myriad of options must have been discussed. I have tried to pinpoint only the most critical ones and provide more text commentary than variations. Anyway, as you might have noticed, I am always willing to help anyone who has questions about chess and my articles in particular. Should you see that a line that you have been researching is missing, just let me know, and I will try to advise you on it.
