Colored Order

Bigmouth Bertha had been given a bag of gobstoppers by her mother to stop her wittering. The bag contained nine colored sweets: three red, three yellow and three green. Bertha removed three sweets from the bag, one at a time. Her brother, Boring Bernard, who was a collector of insignificant detail, noted the following four facts in his diary.

(a) A yellow sweet was not taken out later than a green one and vice-versa.

(b) Only if a yellow was removed later than a red one was a green taken earlier than a red.

(d) The first colour was different from both the second and third colours.

What were the three colors in order of removal?

	My lazy mind tempted me to do it in an easy way, but ended up in an illogical way anywayzzz [Y Y Y G G G R R R] gives 27 unique permutations taking 3 at a time (if im not mistaken ) fact(d) leaves us only 12 out of those: (a) and (c) crosses out all those containing G&Y AND R&G together; Only RYY and YRR is left! Now, The Tricky part is To pay a lil attention to (b), then comparing it to (c) again. I actually read those two again & again atleast 6 times! Thennnn! The answer: YRR YELLOW - RED - RED Ting! Ting! 0_x
