White to move
The game ended in a draw after White played Ke4. But can one be sure it is the real evaluation of the position?
Tip: if you don't manage to work it out theoretically, try to play the position for both sides against a skilled player or a chess engine. It will definitely enhance your understanding of bishop endings.

I believe that Be5 wins.

A-White Wins B-Insufficient Material aft
White's move would be B-e5. If Black takes the Bishop white wins. Black Bxe5, Kxe5. Black can move pawn or king, either way white responds K-d4 and that seals the fate of black. I tried it several ways with black, but I lost everytime.
However, Fairy-Max didn't take the bishop and after 15 moves, there ws insufficient mating material. Here's the PGN
Be5 seems a lot better than Ke4, but I think your 3rd move can be improved. 3.Bg7 (threat 3.... b4, 4.BfThe position must be winning (and yes I know I am lazy) i.e. 4. Ke7 5. Ke4 b4 6. Kd3 and wins the pawn.(The two connected pawns must be sufficient for the win)If 4.. Kc6 then 5. g4 will win. 2. .. Ba3 seems bad.
