Black to play

In the position on the diagram Black recaptured the pawn: 25...Bxc4. Was it a good idea? Why?

I don't think it was a good idea as then White plays 26.Bxc4+, thus forcing Black to recapture with the Queen and enabling White to play 27.Qd5+,which removes both Queens and leaves White with two rooks and a bishop against Black's rook and bishop.

Taking the c-pawn allows White to penetrate with Rd7. I think Black is in BIG trouble after that.

In my opinion, 1. ... Bxc4 is in effect self-pinning Black's Queen, allowing White to execute the following combination:
2.Rd7 Rf7 3.RxR KxR 4.Qxf5+ Kg8 (Forced. If 4. ... Ke7 5.Qxe4+ etc.) 5.Rd1 Bd3 (If 5. ... Be7 6.Rd7 etc.) 6.BxB exB 7.Rxd3 with best play White should win :)
