a) White played Re7!? Calculate this line and evaluate it.
b) Super GM challenge: try to improve on Alexey Shirov's play and suggest a different continuation.

Shirov (2700) - Dreev (2654), 2013
Well, if [B]NxRe7, then [W]Nf7 to attack both black rooks. If [B]QxRe7, then [W]Qg4 for check.

In my opinion, Mr. Shirov could have chosen the following line, capitalising on the precarious position of the Black's King. The main line, as I see it, runs as follows: 1.Be3 NxR 2.NxN Qd7 3.Bxa7 QxN 4.Rc1+ Kd7 5.Bb5+ Kd6 6.Bc5+ Ke5 7.Qd4+ Kf5 8.Bd3+ Qe4 9.BxQ+ dxB 10.Qe3 winning. This is, of course, as an amateur saw it

Mr
I like Be3, threating Dreev\\\\\\\'s knight and clearing the space to threaten Rc1 (pinned queen), thereby driving the knight back:
Nc6,Qg4 or NxR,NxN (fork)
looking for follow-up moves like Rc1 and especially Qg4 & Bf4 for a great double diagonal!
